In celebration of our 10th anniversary and the Walt Whitman bicentennial in 2019, we are announcing our first ever call for scores from which selections will be performed as part of our final concert of the season on June 18, 2019 at The National Opera Center in New York City.

  • This call for scores is open to composers of any age, gender, ethnicity, and country of residence.

  • Songs must be settings of texts by Walt Whitman.

  • Songs must be for solo voice and piano only.

  • Length of songs must be between 3-5 minutes.

  • Composers must be willing to transpose their songs if necessary.

  • Each composer can submit up to 2 songs.
